On my first pitch, I received really good feedbacks from three people. They mainly said that I did a great job managing to include all the information necessary in just one minute. All of them thought my idea was interesting.
To be honest, I didn't change anything for this pitch. Since I only got good feedback from my peers, I did the same thing as I did last time. I hope they also like this pitch.

ReplyDeleteThat is a nice idea, I got a clear understanding of your opportunity from this pitch. I believe your pitch can benefit from more body exposure, and it looked like you were reading off the script. While preparing for this assignment I did some research and one of the things that stood out for me was to rely less on memorizing the pitch words, but to speak from your heart and head, with emotions. I tried to incorporate in my second attempt, and I believe your pitch can benefit from it as well.

ReplyDeleteYour points and your tone of voice in your video is fantastic, however, the body language is where you could fix it up a little. For example, for your body movements, you should gracefully use your hands but always keep them under your chest level. This technique is used to portray openness into the conversation. You swayed back and forth a lot which tends to come off as nervousness or anxiety. Other than that, great job and your idea is great as well. I am sure many would benefit from it.

ReplyDeleteYour pitch was excellent. I like how you used a personal experience in order to show why you want to open this business. I do have to say though that you were swaying a little too much. and I do not know if you were or not but it seems like you were reading off a script. You seemed a little robotic when you were talking. In my business speech class, I learned that investors or future employers like pitches much better when they do not seem robotic which can be hard to do in a short time. Overall though, you did a fantastic job.
